Kingsport nightclub, Hog Wild Saloon, surrenders liquor license
KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) - More than two months after a deadly shooting at the Hog Wild Saloon in Kingsport, the State of Tennessee says the nightclub has surrendered its liquor license. According to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Hog Wild voluntarily surrendered its liquor license for ten months.
An order from TABC says Hog Wild's owners had multiple violations related to a failure to provide adequate security. The owners can re-apply for their permit at the end of those ten months.
The club was shut down following the murder of 20-year-old Brett Rodgers in March.
