Woman smashes glass over doorman's head in SHOCKING brawl caught on CCTV – and is fined just £170

This shocking CCTV footage shows the moment a bottle is smashed over a doorman's head - leaving the woman responsible with just a GBP170 fine. Cameras outside The Harbour Bar, in South Road, captured the incident that saw Sophie Robson attack 42-year-old Stephen Bond with the makeshift weapon. Robson, 25, is clearly shown on the video launching the vicious blow with the glass in her hand in an incident which Mr Bond said left him "with blood pouring from the back of his head" as he tried to break up a melee between several people outside the Waterloo venue.

Mr Bond, who now works for a day-time security company and runs the Evolution4Kickboxing gym, told the ECHO: "In a situation like that as a doorman, you have to be calm and let things slide.

It is about calming and diffusing a situation." He said his background in kickboxing helps him be "controlled and disciplined" in situations like the one shown on the CCTV.

Mr Bond was found to be totally justified in his actions by the authorities in relation to the incident.

He added: "This incident did put a lot of pressure on me at the time. "I was the one who was attacked while I was at work and I have stopped nightclub work now, because I don't really want to put up with that."
