As Meghan Markle and the ginger hunk prepare for their big day, they will likely consider many traditional staples. But, there is a common marriage trope that Harry could abandon following his wedding, on May 19. After he makes his vows, Harry may choose not to wear his wedding ring.

Shockingly, Harry would not be the first royal to ditch the finger bling as many of his family members have opted against wearing the symbolic ring.

Prince William, decided against wearing one after he married Kate Middleton in 2011. His reason was simple, however, he just didn't want to wear it. St Jame's Palace has also confirmed Prince Harry would not be wearing a wedding band for a month before the big day.

A Palace spokesman said: "It is simply down to personal preference."
