Man shot, killed after firing gun at nightclub after argument, police say

HOUSTON - After shooting at a Houston club early Sunday morning, a man was confronted by a security guard and killed, police said. The incident happened around 3 a.m. at Club 5608, located at 5608 N. Shepherd Rd.

WATCH: Man shot and killed at club by guard Houston police said two men were arguing inside the club when one man went out to his car, got a gun and went back toward the club and started shooting, but never made it inside the gentleman's club. Once the man started firing, a security guard fatally shot the man near the front door, police said.

No one else was injured in the shooting, police said.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance video and are working to learn more about this incident.
