Watch: The LPCB Attack Testing Zone at IFSEC 2017

Security doors, perimeter fencing, shutters and covers were subjected to hammers, wire cutters and other handheld tools in the LPCB Attack Testing Zone at IFSEC 2017. The new area, which took place within Borders & Infrastructure Expo itself debuting and is expected to return again for the 2018 show, saw technicians from the LPCB put non-approved products to the test alongside LPCB-approved alternatives that have achieved a minimum of LPS 1175 SR-3 compliance. BRE Global/LPCB Attack Testing Zone Watch a security door being put to the test by a hammer-wielding technician from the LPCB in the video below. This gives a flavour of what visitors to IFSEC International, which takes place between 20-22 June at London ExCeL, can expect to see in the BRE Global/LPCB Attack Testing Zone , which will take place within Borders & Infrastructure Expo . Live on the show floor, technicians from the LPCB will expose perimeter fencing, security doors, shutters and covers to attack from a variety of powerful hand-held tools that criminals might deploy.

Non-approved products will be tested in demonstrations against LPCB-approved alternatives that have reached a minimum of LPS 1175 SR-3 compliance levels.
